Match Report

Saul U-12 boys had an impressive home win against Carryduff on Sunday. Playing into the wind Saul held a 1-4 to 0-3 lead at half time with a Niall Molloy goal, two points from Cormac Coulter and points from Caolan Magee and Martin Holland.

Saul used the wind to their advantage in the second half and held Carryduff scoreless. The lively Caolan Magee scored 2-3 and Connor Hazard popped over two great points and there were single points from Martin Holland, Gordon Rourke, Cormac Coulter and PJ. Dunlop.

The full back line of James Gordon, Conal McGreevy and Ryan Crawford were superb in defence and kept Carryduff scoreless for the entire second half. The final score was Saul 3-13 -v- Carryduff 0-3.

Training continues on Thursday (6.15 - 7.30pm) with an away match against Dundrum next Sunday.
