Match ReportIn a friendly (played as such when no referee showed up), the under 14s enjoyed a rivetting encounter with St.Joseph's in Ballykinlar, with top drawer football served up by both sides. The hosts raced into a 2 goal lead, and threatened to over-run our lads, with excellent play from Rory Kavanagh and Oisín McKibbin in the middle of the park. Conor Campbell and Cathal Sloan stuck to their task however, and were rewarded with great scores. One particular Goal from the hard-working Sloan was an exceptional strike on the run. Luke Hogg and Daniel Annett started to get on the ball for the home team, with excellent support from David McComiskey and Caolán Doherty. The second half was another see-saw affair.Skipper Joe Hayes, forceful Mikey Rice, and tenacious Ciaran McGrady led the charge for Saul. While the likes of Sam McKee,Líam Dunlop and the livewire Ciarán Harney played exceptionally well upfront.
