Match Report

Game switched to Monday night due to another fixture shuffle which left a clash with an arranged U12 girls match (based on original fixture list)

The under 14s entertained a Cill Darach side ,who will be pushing for honours this season, on Monday night. Saul found it hard to cope with their strong running visitors, but battled bravely against the wind.

Unfortunately the concession of three 1st half goals proved Saul's undoing. This was a match which could have been alot closer but Saul lacked belief in themselves. Again James Murray performed heroics in goals and Saul had an excellent full back line of McMullan, Rice and Byrne. Cathal Sloan worked hard while Líam Dunlop and Conor Marron grabbed late goals, but it was not to be Saul's night.

Next up is an away match v St. Paul's in Holywood on Thursday 19th. Players are reminded that the Cúl camp forms are available in the clubhouse and the club strongly encourages all players from under 14 downwards to avail of this opportunity for a week's intense coaching.
