Congratulations from the whole club go to the Saul Scor na Nog team in coming home from Banbridge Parish Centre on Sunday night with county titles in the Ballad Group and Novelty Act. They now go forward again to represent the club and Down in the first Ulster semi-final at the same venue next Saturday night against the champions of Derry and Antrim. The winning team were Claudia Leung-Soon, Bronagh O'Neill, Fiona Brannigan, Gemma Duffy and Grainne Laverty again under the guidance of Phil Stratton and Gareth McGreevy. In the ballad group an excellent performance saw off the challenge of Clonduff, Rostrevor and Loughinisland while in the Novelty Act (after a scoring mistake which had incorrectly given the title to Rostrevor), Saul advanced ahead of St Johns, Saval and Rostrevor. Good luck in the Ulster semi's girls!!!
